Waves of opportunity for hotel investments are available in Oceanside, the best, undeveloped beach-front community in the region. Convenient to get to by plane, car and train Oceanside, is ideally located halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego.
The Transit Center is located two blocks from the beach and is an Amtrak, Metrolink, Coaster and Sprinter Station. The Coaster goes south to San Diego; the Metrolink connects Oceanside north to Orange County and the Sprinter connects I-5 and I-15.
Oceanside boasts some of the widest, sandy beaches in South California as well as a 1,000 slip harbor. Other attractions include Mission San Luis Rey, Oceanside Museum of Art and the Surf Museum. Oceanside has the best surfing conditions in Southern California, hosting major surf competitions every year. Fisherman can cast off the longest pier in Southern California, or take a fishing boat or a whale watching tour out of the Harbor. Bicycle riders enjoy the 7-mile San Luis Rey River Trail and Coastal Rail Trail. Oceanside is a short drive from the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari Park and Sea World.
